We want to show how you that you can use a lot of our Journaling resources as stand-alone resources. Schooling Students of Different Ages
Schooling with multiple ages can be such a challenge. It is hard to know if what your are interested in provides a rich and enjoyable learning experience for students of differing ages. In this day we will show how WinterPromise programs can be adapted and used for this success. Being able to teach multiple students of differing age inside one program is a huge part of the WinterPromise experience. We will also talk about the practicalities of managing multiple students of different ages during your homeschooling experience. This is going to be a really practical day!
Schooling Students of Different Learning Styles
Along with multiple ages usually different students will have very different learning styles! One is a visual learning an thrives when viewing material. Another is a great oral learner and thrives when things are spoken and read aloud. What do you do when you have a hands-on learner and an oral learner side-by-side? We will tackle some of the most challenging parts of homeschooling from the educational side and on the practical side. We will also talk about how WinterPromise is uniquely designed to handle multiple learning styles in one program. All children of all learning styles deserve to thrive and we want to provide that for you!
Practical Tips for the Homeschool Lifestyle
Time to get down to the nitty-gritty! This is real life. Laundry needs to get done. The house is a mess. Children are fighting. Errands need to be done. Then you also have to get through breakfast, and schooling, and getting them down for a nap. There is so much to do! We want to bring our experience to the table and provide advice and encouragement to the struggling family. Even if your not struggling and got this thing down you can help others by being a part of a conversation! This day will be really beneficial for all!
