Start by Choosing Your Winter Promise Exclusives in Step 1, Then Add the Components You Wish to Build Your Package
Step 1: Choose Your WinterPromise Exclusives
You’ll want to choose one of the sets below, as you need these resources to complete your theme. These resources are specially created for a rich educational experience by WinterPromise, and so they offer a lot of content presented in intriguing ways, including active learning opportunities. Most are used for many or all of the weeks of the year, and they focus on practical, you-can-do it, open & go family experiences!
You can choose from a set for 4th to 8th grade or for high school students, or purchase one of each to school a combination of ages. You can compare below whether the Ebook, Mixed, or Print Bundle is right for your family.
Step 2: Decide on the Themed Essentials Books
The resources in this bundle are used for many weeks and represent the essential content your student needs to work through this program, whether you are using the 4/8 Set or the Senior High Set. You need only purchase one set, even if you are schooling more than one student.
Since some families already own the book Mystery of History Volume 2, we offer the bundle without it, but if you don’t own it, you’ll want to purchase the full set.
Step 3: Add Theme Completer Books
We offer two options for completing your Middle Ages program — one set for 4/8 and one set for Senior High. If you are schooling both, you’ll need both completer sets.
Though used for a shorter period than the resources in the Essential Bundle, these books are the ones needed for the individual age groups, and are specially chosen for their appeal to their respective student groups.
Step 4: Decide on Theme Specific Add-ons
Step 5: Add Adventure Reading
Our Adventure Reading book sets are designed for families to read together, and spark discussions about important topics and values. They are a valuable time for families to use for connecting and passing along priorities and values to their kids in easy, teachable moments. Many sets include award winning titles that you’ll want as “friends” in your family library!
Step 6: Add Notebooking Resources
Step 7: Add Geographic Resources for Mapping
Step 8: Add Additional Student Packs
For 4th to 8th Grade Students: Make-Your-Own Medieval Book & Blank Book
For Senior High Students: Investigate the Middle Ages Journal
